Meet the Team - Danielle Tracey
Operational Team / Operations Assistant

Danielle joined us back in May 2023 as an Operations Assistant, having worked at a logistics company for over 5 years. She is also currently working towards completing her Level 3 Business Admin Apprenticeship.

Let's find out a bit more about Danielle!

  1. Can you tell us a bit about yourself?

I am an outgoing and easy person; I like talking to and meeting different people. I love nothing more than being organised and helping others. I'm a really family orientated person and enjoy spending much of my spare time with my family and friends. I have a beautiful baby daughter who just makes my day, every day!

  2. What led you to join the ITP?

It was by far the people. Everyone who works at the ITP were all so welcoming, energetic and bubbly. I love how the ITP are so passionate about helping the younger generation and advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion to give more people opportunities. It's amazing being part of a team that push continuous learning every day and really believe in the importance of professional and personal development no matter what stage you're at in your career. I always wanted to be a part of an organisation that strive on making a change in peoples lives, and I've found that here!

  3. What does a typical day look like for you in your role?

A typical day in my role can be anything from handling the apprentice recruitment cycle, such as telephone interviewing and applicant support, all the way to managing our Journal Subscription service where I get to work with libraries and institutions across the world. Every day is different!

  4. Can you share a highlight or accomplishment from your career that you’re particularly proud of?

The part of my career that is a highlight and what I am particularly proud of, is when I call a candidate to tell them they have been successful in their application and that our client would like to offer them a position!

There is no better feeling at work than knowing that you've changed that candidate’s life and given them an opportunity to build a successful career.

  5. What’s your favourite thing about working at the ITP?

I love working with such a great team of people who I can turn to for any advice. My favourite thing about working at the ITP, is that we really care. Not only for our colleagues but for every candidate, apprentice, partner, member, fellow and client.

  6. If you had to describe yourself in three words, what would they be?

    Easy-going, Introvert and Hard-working!

  7. If your life was a movie, what genre would it be and why?

My genre would be Sci-fi. Don't laugh but I love the idea of living on a ship in space. Is that weird? probably!

  8. What’s your favourite way to recharge after a busy day?

When I am not working and my daughter has gone to bed (eventually!). I either enjoy doing epoxy resin, watching Netflix or playing games on the Xbox.
