Meet the Team - Demi Pearce
Operational Team / Recruitment and Apprentice Coordinator

Demi joined the ITP back in 2021 when we were still working from home during the pandemic. She was the first person to join the company remotely! She had already completed her Level 2 Business Admin apprentice and wanted to progress onto the Level 3 so Demi joined us an Apprentice Recruitment Administrator. Fast forward nearly 3 years and she is now our Recruitment and Apprentice Coordinator, looking after hundreds of apprentices who are enrolled on our programmes!

Let's find out a bit more about Demi!

  1. Can you tell us a bit about yourself?

I work for the ITP as a Recruitment and Apprentice Coordinator; I look after a lot of the apprentices on our programmes making sure their journey throughout the apprenticeship is positive and successful and that they are happy with the way things are going. I have worked at the ITP for nearly 3 years now and have seen myself grow throughout my time here.

  2. What led you to join the ITP?

The reason I joined the ITP at the time was to complete my Level 3 Business Admin Apprenticeship course. I had previously completed my Level 2 Business Admin apprenticeship with another company and when looking for that next stepping stone I came across the ITP. I have learnt so much with the ITP and they have really helped me to grow both professionally and personally.

  3. What does a typical day look like for you in your role?

My mornings usually start out by organising and planning my day! I will spend part of my day focusing on the recruitment side of my job, such as telephone screening and scheduling. I spent the other part of my day focusing on the apprenticeship side of things, catching up with all the apprentices and conducting progress reviews.

  4. Can you share a highlight or accomplishment from your career that you’re particularly proud of?

Earlier this year, I was promoted to Recruitment and apprentice coordinator. This meant a lot more responsibility, and a very rewarding role getting to manage our apprentices and make sure they are happy in their roles and and in their apprenticeship. It makes me happy to know they are happy and I love being able to support them.

  5. What’s your favourite thing about working at the ITP?

I really enjoy being around all the team and enjoy the relationships we have. We all help each other out and we can also have a lot of fun!

  6. What’s the weirdest food combination that you enjoy?

I enjoy eating Mcflurry ice creams or milkshake with Chips or Nuggets. Don't judge until you've tried it, they go very well together!

  7. If you could time travel, would you go to the past or the future, and what era or moment would you visit?

I would go back to the late 60s or 70s just to see what the music scene was like and join in on the tours and festivals. My vibe!
