The Company

Our broadband network can supply our standard installed customers with anything up to 10 Gigabits in both download either, uploads.

The Position
Job Title: Apprentice Cable Engineer
Apprenticeship Course: Level 3 Information Communication Technician
Apprenticeship Duration: 18 Months
Location: Polegate, East Sussex
Working Hours 8.00am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday
Salary: £12,000

Role and Responsibilities:
You will be working with in a dynamic team that is very diverse in what we do. The main role will be rod, roping and testing duct. Trying to clear blockages. If you can not get through the blockage then you will be filling in an A55 to get completed by the manager. We work in the Underground network as well as Over Head. You will also learn to pull in subduct, join it, label it and test it. You will work as a 2-man team predominantly but also with the other team members with in the teams on the bigger jobs. You will also get the relevant training and certificates for working on the BT network. You will be taught how to read our own maps as well as the BT network.
