Our client is recruiting for an Apprentice Communications Engineer to join their team in Bristol.

We are a new and energetic internet service provider, on a mission to bridge the digital divide by rolling out full fibre connectivity to rural locations mainly across South Gloucestershire and North Bristol. We are a software-based business with an innovative solution to broadband.
We are suppliers of the Department for digital, culture, media and sport’s rural gigabit voucher scheme and have a 5 year roll out plan to improve poorly served areas with gigabit capable services.’
Job Title: Apprentice Communications Engineer
Apprenticeship Course: Level 3 Information Communication Technician
Apprenticeship Duration: Approx. 18 months
Location: Bristol, BS5 – Working in the field
Working Hours: 40 hours
Salary: £13,000 - £15,000 per annum
Role and Responsibilities
Working directly for the ISP, you will be part of a small team including the leadership members that are hands on. This is a huge opportunity to get onboard with an ISP in launch stages. You will be learning a range of skills from network build, Test and commissioning, 1st line support, field maintenance and repair call outs, Special project installations and liaising with customers on site for surveys and installation and maintain a range of tech like VoIP and CCTV, security systems.

Driving Licence is desirable
