The Position
Job Title: Apprentice Project Coordinator
Apprenticeship Course: Level 4 Associate Project Manager
Apprenticeship Duration: Approximately 24 Months
Location: Southampton SO15.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
Salary: £14,000 pa
Role and Responsibilities
As a Project Coordinator, your role will be to manage the onboarding process of a new customer or existing customers through to implementation to ensure the project is delivered on time and delivers the best possible customer experience. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organisation and timeline.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
• Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information.
• Managing customer onboarding, porting and terminations processes.
• Oversee project procurement management.
• Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise.
• Act as the point of contact and communicate project status
Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
• Experience in the Telecoms industry is required.
• Project Management experience managing small to complex projects.
• Ability to coordinate and integrate work across multiple disciplines, including resource planning activities to drive efficient work processes.
• Ability to work both on your own utilising self-initiative to make decisions and within the wider team.
• Strong interpersonal skills, being able to manage customers, suppliers and partners.
• Ability to present detailed information to wider business on project statues.
