Job Title: Apprentice Engineer
Apprenticeship Course: Level 3 Information Communication Technician
Apprenticeship Duration: 18 Months
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE12
Working Hours: 09.00 – 17.00 Mon – Fri + overtime
Role and Responsibilities:
The candidate will be initially trained in the installation of voice and data cabling including but not limited to, cat5e cat6, cat6a and fibre optic. Once the candidate has a knowledge of the infrastructure, they will be trained on the following:
Voice and data network provisioning
Network fault finding
SIP trunking provisioning and testing
Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
The opportunity is open to a punctual, polite and reliable person to work with a small team of engineers. The applicant doesn’t need prior knowledge of UC, IP or cabling as full training will be given however it would be an advantage to have some basic IT knowledge. The applicant must have a full driving license. The candidate must also be flexible for working away from home
