Our client is recruiting for a Junior IT Support Technician Apprentice to join their team in Banbury.

Job Title: Junior IT Support Technician Apprentice
Apprenticeship Course: Level 3 information communication technician
Apprenticeship Duration: 18 months
Location: Banbury OX16
Working Hours: Monday - Friday
Role and Responsibilities:
As a Junior IT Support Technician, this company will provide full training and guidance to enable you to develop into a full IT Support Technician providing excellent end user support across the business.
The IT service desk is the central point of contact for all IT related incidents and service requests. The role will involve first line support for all staff members in a dynamic, fast-paced environment providing services via phone, email, in-person, and instant messaging.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software and hardware issues in a Windows based environment across a range of software applications.
Provide technical support via phone, email, in-person and remotely to implement temporary and permanent fixes to restore services.
Escalate incidents and work with senior staff to resolve major incidents with the aim to restore services as soon as possible.
Installation, configuration, and upgrade across a range of IT technologies – hardware, software, and cloud platforms.
Record and update IT documentation where applicable to maintain information accuracy.
Maintain a good level of customer service and communication to effectively deal with technical and non-technical colleagues.
Be a motivated team player with ability to adapt to changing priorities in a growing business.
Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
Previous customer service experience
Good communication skills; Verbal and written
