Massimiliano has provided consistent technical leadership as OneWeb’s CTO, during tumultuous times. He has overseen-13 rocket launches with 34-36 communication satellites on each launch, deploying more than 400 communications satellites into Low Earth Orbit. Overseeing this achievement is an unrivaled UK industry contribution and the rapid pace of developments in the past 12 months in terms of the cadence of launches, developing the end-to-end network and providing live broadband services to a number of remote communities is impressive. In a challenging time, he has continued to oversee a growing community of employees, has managed the development and program delivery of one of the largest satellite constellations in the world, changed the way that satellites are manufactured, continues to strive to develop the 2nd generation of platform and terminals and has provided a vision for the UK space based telecoms industry.
