Level 4 Marketing Executive

The Marketing Executive apprenticeship standard is designed for individuals who help shape, support, and execute marketing plans. Working alongside a Marketing Manager, who defines the overall strategy, apprentices will develop skills to deliver tactical and targeted marketing activities. This apprenticeship focuses on audience engagement and requires a blend of creativity, communication, and project management skills.

Key responsibilities for a Marketing Executive apprentice include:

  • Managing and maintaining key marketing channels such as digital, offline, and social media

  • Planning and delivering integrated marketing campaigns

  • Overseeing the production and distribution of marketing materials

  • Engaging with a variety of stakeholders, including customers, colleagues, suppliers (including agencies), and partners

  • Conducting market research to analyse target audience behaviour and trends

  • Supporting brand positioning in line with agreed guidelines

  • Organising and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions, and exhibitions

This apprenticeship standard equips learners with the necessary skills to contribute effectively to marketing teams, whether in-house or within agencies, while gaining hands-on experience and industry knowledge.
