Neil Geary is Network Integration & Planning Director at CityFibre, where he leads the team responsible for network design and planning as the company expands its network and onboards customers and ISP partners. He is also involved in the due diligence and integration of acquired networks.

Neil has worked in telecommunications for more than 25 years, spanning the dial-up era through DSL, Cable and FTTH technologies. His experience includes planning and strategy roles with both incumbents and alternative network providers in the UK and internationally. Prior to joining CityFibre, he was at Virgin Media O2, where he led the Technical Strategy & Architecture team across fixed and mobile networks and played a technical leadership role in the due diligence and integration activities associated with the joint venture.

He holds an Engineering Doctorate from University College London and is a Chartered Engineer.
