ITP Insight Visit: BT's Adastral Park Research & Innovation Centre

We’re delighted to be heading back to Adastral Park, home to BT Research and Innovation for an exclusive behind the scenes look at BT's latest developments.

Our trip starts with the opportunity to network over tea and coffee, followed by an introduction to Adastral Park and BT’s research and approach to innovation, our visit then moves to the Drone and Robotics lab where UAV (Unmanned Airbourne Vehicle) can be evaluated in a safe controlled environment before progressing to external deployment, there’s a huge “drone net” to ensure the research is performed safely. 

We’ll then look at immersive technologies including VR, AR, and Metaserve. 

After lunch (not included) we’ll tour the world class Showcases, “situational environments” showing the innovative technology. 

This allows customers to easily understand the technology and consider how it might fit with their business needs.  Finally we’ll take a thorough look at the world leading research BT are doing around AI and how organisations need to manage data ethically.
