What is a Smart City?
A city that uses digital technologies and applications to improve infrastructure, modernise government and municipal services, increase accessibility, drive sustainability, and accelerate economic development.
Today’s urban environments are full of technology that receives, processes and transmits data constantly, giving for residents notable benefits through improved traffic management, public transport, street lighting etc.
Given these advancements, there are sure to be challenges to overcome around the underlying infrastructure, data collection and cyber security.
This Smart Cities Seminar will provide an important platform for all professionals in our industry to learn about and discuss current and future Smart City challenges. The speakers are from well-known organisations involved in the development of Smart Cities and have extensive knowledge and experience.
