This includes identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies in telecom data, creating reports, and presenting findings to support key business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enforce records management processes.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Ability to analyse large datasets, identify trends, and derive meaningful insights.

  • Proficiency in working with numbers, statistics, and mathematical concepts.

  • Knowledge of data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, and familiarity with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

  • Capability to create visual representations of data using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib in Python. Problem-Solving - Aptitude for identifying issues within datasets and devising effective solutions.

  • Capacity to evaluate data validity, assess its relevance, and make informed decisions based on analysis.

  • Ability to articulate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through reports, presentations, and visualisations.

  • Precision in data cleaning, validation, and ensuring accuracy throughout the analysis process.

  • Understanding of the industry including relevant terminology, processes, and challenges.

  • Eagerness to explore new techniques, tools, and methodologies to enhance data analysis capabilities.

Step 7: Consider upskilling using an apprenticeship such as the Level 7 Digital Technology Solutions (Data Analytics).

Step 8: Commit to continued learning.

Step 9: After 10 years of service, you are eligible to apply for Fellowship of The Institute of Telecommunications Professionals (ITP).
